Coastguard Marlborough volunteers continue to be out in force, searching the Cook Strait for a jetskier missing almost five days.
The experienced jetskier, who had crossed the Cook Strait several times before, left Queen Charlotte Sound on Monday.
An alert was raised when he failed to arrive at his destination along the Kapiti Coast.
Police say the ongoing search has not located any other items of note.
"Favourable weather conditions in the Cook Strait area yesterday allowed for continued searching over a wide area involving a number of agencies.
"At this time there has been no sign of the missing man.
Today Police are reviewing the search efforts to date and planning further search activity.
Police have been in contact with the man’s family and support is being provided to them at what is an understandably difficult time."
Coastguard Marlborough President David St John said rough sea conditions earlier in the week had made the search more difficult.
“Searching by boat in the strait in bad weather often means poor visibility.
“It’s a big search effort for the team, and we have volunteers who are taking days off work – it's just what we need to do.”
On Tuesday afternoon, rough weather conditions forced Coastguard Marlborough off the Cook Strait and back into the Marlborough Sounds to search.

On Monday evening, volunteers onboard Bluebridge Rescue and Port Marlborough Rescue searched from 7:00pm until last light.
A large 13-hour search effort got underway on Tuesday starting at 6.30am, involving 15 volunteers including shore teams and Incident Management Team, working alongside local police.
A jetski was located near Cooks Rock in the Cook Strait on Monday evening, believed to be the one belonging to the missing man, Police have revealed.
Coastguard Mana are also heavily involved, searching both the sea and coastline.
