Anakiwa, Marlborough Sounds
Auction
For the owners of this much-loved Anakiwa home, the decision to sell is all about family. With children and grandchildren now living in Christchurch and overseas, they’re ready to simplify life, reduce their property responsibilities and have the freedom to travel and spend more time with those who matter most. That creates an opportunity for another family to make their own memories here. Set on 3,043sqm (more or less), this spacious five-bedroom home has been made for sharing. Two living areas provide room for everyone, while outdoor spaces front and rear mean there’s always somewhere to gather, entertain or simply sit back and enjoy the surroundings. The master suite is privately positioned downstairs, with four further bedrooms upstairs alongside the second living area and elevated balcony overlooking Anakiwa. Outside, expansive lawns and a mature fruit orchard create a wonderfully relaxed setting, with the grounds thoughtfully established for easy care. The foreshore and beach are just down the driveway, with the community jetty and boat ramp nearby. After many happy years here, the owners are ready to hand the keys to someone new, while they look forward to having more freedom to travel and be closer to their family. Now it’s someone else’s turn to call this special part of Anakiwa home.
