Some homes are simply special, and this beautiful 1920s bungalow is one of them. Set on an acre of land, with a peaceful rural outlook, established vegetable gardens and space to breathe, this is a property with heart, soul, and a story to tell. Lovingly held by the same owners for more than 37 years, this is a home that has been cherished, cared for, and enjoyed through decades of family life. Now, the opportunity awaits for a new family to make it their own, create lasting memories and begin the next chapter. Step inside and discover the timeless charm of a bygone era, where elegant archways, high ceilings and wonderful period features blend effortlessly with the comforts of modern living. The farmhouse-style kitchen and dining areas create a warm, welcoming hub of the home, while 3 bedrooms, a dedicated office and a generous laundry provide the space and practicality for everyday life. A wood burner, double glazing and a DVS system add to the comfort, without compromising the character that makes this home so appealing. Beyond the main residence, a separate studio offers a versatile bonus for visiting family, guests, creative pursuits, or a private workspace. Three-bay carports, a workshop and ample flat parking provide plenty of room for vehicles, hobbies and all the extras that come with a relaxed country lifestyle. Outside is where the possibilities really open up. Enjoy the established vegetable gardens, grow your own produce, and embrace a more self-sufficient way of living. The flat paddocks at the rear offer wonderful flexibility, whether you have aspirations of keeping a few animals, creating space for the bees (where the current owner is open to pass on the knowledge), giving the kids room for their outdoor toys or simply enjoying the freedom that comes with having land of your own. With a lovely rural outlook and room to spread out, you can savour the feeling of being away from it all without sacrificing convenience. The property has an Artesian well that has been a very reliable source of water over their tenure. Better still, Picton is just minutes away, with Blenheim only a short drive from your doorstep. It is a rare combination of country-style living, character and convenience. Character, space, a rural outlook, and a lifetime of love - this is more than a property; it is a place to put down roots, live a little differently and truly feel at home. Come and experience it for yourself. Tender closes 12.00pm, Friday 20 November 2026 at Summit, 56 High Street, Picton. (Will not be sold prior).
